In business terms..
Shash Media specialises in contemporary media production and post production.  We are experts in the areas of documentary and broadcast music video production, motion graphics creation and various other aspects of media production and post, such as CGI, 3D, Green Screen and High Definition filming.

In layman’s terms..
We’re basically a bunch of talented editors, sound designers and tech geeks who make videos, do editing jobs, design sound for films, make clips for youtube and so on.

Our Hardware
Our hardware infrastructure is based upon Avid HD technology and we have dedicated 64bit graphics workstations for processor intense projects, such as particle system creation.

Our Library
As well as being a production company Shash Media has a library of approximately 500 hours of interviews and the like, with musicians and artists  from around the world as well.

A few random facts about Shash Media:

  • Shash Media’s first documentary was Fear, Panic & Censorship, which was the flagship documentary for the infamous Channel 4 Television “Banned” weekend.
  • The official BARB audience share for Fear, Panic & Censorship was 92% up on the same time-slot as the previous week.
  • Murder Music: Black Metal, a documentary commissioned by Rockworld TV about the controversial subject of Black Metal has gained almost 1 million views on Youtube.
  • Shash Media content in general has been viewed on the Internet by over 5 million unique visitors as well as millions of viewers on television stations around the world.
  • Shash Media has been responsible for producing media content for some of the biggest names in the “Alternative” music scenes such as Trigger The Bloodshed, Maleficent and the cult Japanese rockers Electric Eel Shock.
  • Our work with Electric Eel Shock was featured on Japanorama with Johnathon Ross.
  • Shash Media recently produced a series of motion graphics for the ITN Source documentary “Michael Jackson, The King Of Pop” as well as documentaries about The Beatles, Winston Churchill and a forthcoming production about Northern Soul.
  • Shash Media was instrumental in creating one of the first Premiership football teams in-house TV stations and in the process we covered the Champions League, working in conjunction with FIFA.
